Is Caratly compatible with Shopify or Magento?
No. Caratly is a dedicated WooCommerce plugin. We focus exclusively on the WordPress ecosystem to provide the deepest possible integration and performance for jewellers. We do not support Shopify, Magento, or other closed platforms.
Do I need a developer to set it up?
No. Caratly is a WooCommerce plugin — if you can install a WordPress plugin, you can install Caratly. Most stores are live within a day, and we provide direct onboarding support for all Founding Members.
How accurately does the real-time pricing work?
Caratly syncs with MetalPriceAPI.com for live gold rates and uses your custom diamond/stone matrices to calculate prices to the cent, including making charges, stone factors, and GST — updated instantly as customers configure.
Is there a free trial?
We don't offer a self-serve trial, but we offer a free 20-minute live demo where we'll walk through the plugin on a real store and answer your specific technical questions.
